As an actively employed member of CSEA, you are eligible for the Group Ordinary Life Insurance plan. Unlike the Term Plus plan, the Group Ordinary Life plan builds up cash value while providing Life Insurance protection. Your premiums are paid through the convenience of payroll deduction. Besides the amount of your coverage (paid to your beneficiary in the event of death) Group Ordinary Life insurance builds Cash Value, which is available to you in cash should you discontinue your coverage prior to a death claim being paid.
- Important: No evidence of insurability is required if you enroll within the first seven months of employment. This guarantees that you will be issued the minimum amount of Life Insurance coverage available to you based on your monthly salary.
- Dependent Coverage is available for your spouse and/or dependent unmarried children.
