It’s our story!

The story of CSEA is the story of how state workers won their first pensions, the eight-hour day, health care, improved wages and working conditions and, finally, the right to union representation and collective bargaining.

We’re going to tell it.

- By organizing and preserving all of the photos and documents we’ve collected over the years so that future generations can learn from them

- By recording the personal stories of the members who built CSEA and its affiliates

- By making all of this material available to the public — on a special CSEA History Project web site — so that the real story of the contributions of state workers can finally be told
