The Membership Department manages all membership records, processes all membership applications, researches and processes all refund requests, transfers membership within the CSEA organization; handles all dues and fair share fees deduction requests (adds, changes, and deletes). We import a variety of data sets including voter data, insurance and membership benefit data, status change and employment data, e-mail lists, and others. In coordination with each affiliate's field staff, we update and maintain worksite lists.
The Membership Department manages and handles all returned mail; answers all membership-related questions; codes and tracks campaign activities, meeting attendance, surveys, special positions, insurance and discount benefits; coordinates mass-distribution projects (ballots, mail pieces, auto-generated phone calls, voter matching, e-mail exports). Additionally, we create, develop and generate membership reports (financial, counts, new members, new hires, statistics, political reporting, etc.).
